From Zero to $218.70 in Four Days
I almost gave up on Gumroad... then this happened
Last month, I was staring at my Gumroad dashboard feeling like a complete failure.
Zero sales. Again.
I'd posted products before. Beautiful sales pages. Great content. Cricket sounds.
But this time, I tried something different. Something I almost didn't do because it felt like "too much work" for what would probably be another disappointment.

It was everything else that happened.
Eight affiliates joined my last-minute partnership requests and two joined from my affiliate application form. My sales page was quietly open for a week… but traffic surged after the launch. People were actually engaged instead of just scrolling past.
That's when it hit me.
I'd been doing Gumroad completely backwards for years. Maybe others have too.
Most of us are shy to promote our product releases. We build our thing, craft a pretty sales page, hit publish, then cross our fingers and wonder why we're getting slim results.
