How I Actually Made Money with Artificial Intelligence
Why I'm Going Video First in 2025
Alright, 2025 is going to be the year of video for me. I’ve looked at the data, and, my massive investment in text content underperformed, while my small experiment with short videos that really seemed to grab people's attention.
So, I’m shifting gears big time, and AI is going to be absolutely key to making this work.
Here’s my plan to go video-first:
The main idea is to use AI to streamline the entire video creation and distribution process, from initial script to getting it out on multiple platforms.
Here’s what that looks like:
Central Spreadsheet Hub:
First up, I’ll create a spreadsheet to manage all my video content ideas and the generated assets. This will be the control center for my video publishing.
Instead of beginning with original content and tutorial research for my video content, I’ll focus on modeling the top-performing channels in my topic. I’ll begin with a brainstorming session to collect dozens of ideas and topics.
AI-Powered Scriptwriting:
I’ll be using AI to help me generate scripts specifically designed for short, engaging videos.
My aim is to create videos around 50-60 seconds, perfect for platforms like TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts. I want to focus on modeling viral formats that quickly hook and engage viewers.
Visuals on Demand:
Once I have a script, I’ll leverage AI to create the visuals. I’m be using Flux AI to generate relevant images based on the script, and then using Kling AI to turn those static images into short motion clips. This gives me dynamic video content even if I’m not filming myself all the time.
Putting it Together:
There will be some initial manual editing involved to combine the AI-generated visuals with my voiceover (where needed) and make sure everything flows well. As I get better at this, I’m aiming to automate more of the editing process.

Automated Multi-Platform Publishing:
➤ This is where the real magic happens.
I’ll start with Repurpose.io to automatically share my TikTok video to YouTube.
As my process gets more routine, I’ll set up an automation with Make.com that pulls information from my spreadsheet and automatically publishes the finished videos to all my key platforms: TikTok, Instagram, YouTube Shorts, Twitter, and LinkedIn. The goal is to upload once and have it distributed everywhere.
Blog Posts as Video Support:
The text isn't going away entirely! I'll have another automation that takes the video script and expands it into a full blog post. This blog post will then be embedded with the video and published on my website. This way, I cater to both video watchers and those who prefer to read.
Social Media Promotion Loop:
➤ Once the video is live and the blog post is up, I’ll use automation to share links to the blog post across social media, driving people back to my website and, importantly, encouraging them to follow me on the video-first platforms.

It’s all about creating a connected content ecosystem.
Automated Social Engagement:
➤ Finally, and this is crucial, I'm building an automation that listens to comments on all my social media posts.
If I make a promise in a video (like "comment 'XYZ' for a freebie"), the automation will automatically respond and take the necessary action, like adding the commenter to a follow-up list.

This video-first strategy, powered by AI automation, is all about maximizing my reach and engagement with less manual effort.
In 2025, I’ll be creating a consistent flow of video content that supports my overall goals and connects with people where they are most active online.
