How I Escaped the Content Grind with AI
What if your content isn’t getting results? Here’s the better way I found.
I thought I was doing everything right.
Publishing consistently.
Pouring hours into carefully crafted articles.
Trying to “build authority” the old-fashioned way.
But here’s what no one told me:
Hard work doesn’t always equal impact.
In 2024, I bet big on long-form content. More than 160 of articles, each meticulously edited. Tens of thousands of words, hundreds of custom images.
But the engagement? Brutal.
The ROI? Embarrassing.
And just when I was about to double down on more writing, something surprising happened.
I tried short-form video.
And people actually watched.
Not only that — they engaged, they followed, they clicked.
So I asked the obvious question:
What if I’ve been building the wrong content machine this whole time?
That moment led to a complete shift — one where I stopped chasing growth through effort and started building a simple system where AI Automations and AI Agents work like a small team of employees.
Here’s the simple system that changed everything for me.
What Wasn’t Working (And Why I Almost Gave Up)
If you’re stuck in the content creation hamster wheel, this part will feel familiar.
I spent most of 2024 writing my heart out.
Blog posts
Email newsletters
Long Twitter threads
But the numbers stayed flat.
I kept thinking, “Maybe the next post will go viral. Maybe I just need to keep showing up.”
It’s the same advice everyone gives:
“Consistency is key.”
But let’s be real. Consistency doesn’t matter if you’re consistently doing the wrong thing.

Abysmal Website Traffic?
Here’s what I learned the hard way:
Search engine traffic is a thing of the past.
Most people prefer to watch than to read.
Attention has shifted from text to video.
Distribution is everything — and written content doesn’t travel well anymore.
Meanwhile, creators I barely recognized were blowing up on TikTok, Instagram and YouTube with short, punchy clips that took a fraction of the time to consume.
That’s when I realized the problem wasn’t my work ethic.
It was my format.
The Turning Point — Short Video + AI = Leverage
One experiment changed everything.
I took a script I’d written for a blog post… and turned it into a short video using an AI avatar.
Boom. Views. Comments. Clicks.

Faceless YouTube Video Channel Test.
I didn’t even appear on camera, and in some I did a 30 second intro for a 15 minute video.
Most of the process is handled by AI.
Suddenly, I wasn’t just making content on my own — I was part of a system that included AI and Automation. One where AI served as a skilled helper managing the time-consuming steps.
Here’s exactly how it works:
Step 1: AI Scriptwriting
I start with a single prompt in ChatGPT or Claude.
“Write a 60-second script on why most creators burn out before they succeed.”
In seconds, I have a tight, scroll-stopping script ready to go.
Sometimes I tweak it, but most of the time it’s good enough to ship.
Step 2: Avatar + Animation (No Filming Required)
I create images with Flux AI, animate with Kling AI, voiceover with ElevenLabs. (check out the full tutorial video)
Then I edit into a full animated video — voice, visuals, captions, everything.
No lighting setup. No camera anxiety. No retakes.
Just hit render and move on.
Step 3: Editing + Branding in Camtasia
Want to add music, cut awkward pauses, or slap on a branded intro?
Camtasia, Capcut, or any other video editor makes that easy. I keep a simple template so I’m not reinventing the wheel every time.
Step 4: Multi-Platform Distribution (Hands Off)
Using Repurpose.io and Make.com, I automatically distribute the final video to:
TikTok
YouTube Shorts
Instagram Reels
LinkedIn
Once it’s uploaded, I don’t touch it again.
Step 5: Turn Video Into Written Content
AI tools like Claude or ChatGPT turn those same scripts into:
Blog posts
LinkedIn articles
Email newsletters
Same message, new format. Super low extra effort.
Step 6: Automated Engagement and Comment Replies
Want to keep the conversation going?
I’ve hooked up comment reply automations through Make.com.
They scan new comments, reply with personalized messages, and even push leads to a DM follow-up sequence.
It’s like having a mini community manager — on autopilot.

The Payoff — What Happens When You Stop Doing It All Yourself
Let me paint you a picture.
Before this system, I was spending:
10+ hours/week creating text article content
Another 5 trying to promote it
And still feeling like I was getting nowhere
Now?
Most of my content creation is handled in a single 90-minute block each morning.
The rest happens while I focus on higher-leverage tasks — partnerships, product creation, and building my brand.
Here’s what’s changed:
More reach across more platforms
Higher engagement (especially on short-form video)
Less burnout
And actual time to think, build, and grow
This Isn’t Just About Efficiency — It’s About Survival
If you’re constantly creating and still not growing, it’s not about your skills.
The platforms have changed.
The formats have changed.
And the winners are the ones who adapt — or better yet, automate.
I’m not just making more content now.
I’m building a machine that grows my brand while I sleep.
And you can do the same — even if you hate being on camera, even if you don’t know how to edit, even if you’re not “techy.”
Start simple.
Pick one tool. Record one script. Let AI handle the rest.
You might be one video away from finally seeing the growth you’ve been chasing.
